Mamba Games are nudging themselves into the UK adventure gaming market very nicely at the moment and picking up some promising titles. After securing German publishers dtp Entertainment range (including Jane Jensen’s Gray matter) they’ve now announced a console title. Pirates: Adventures of the Black Corsair is scheduled for release on DS and Wii world wide in Aug 2010.
The game invites players to become marauding buccaneers in 17th century London. Double-crossed by their pirate Captain and branded traitors to their country, players will face countless perils as they struggle to clear their names and become the most famous of pirates, the Black Corsair – defender of the Crown.
