Still Life 2 review

Published on February 24th, 2010no comments

still-life-2-5-jpgStill Life 2 was a long time coming – four years to be exact! It was 2005 when we were first introduced to FBI agent Victoria (Vic) McPherson and after being available for digital download, Iceberg Interactive have now released it on hard copy .If you are unfamiliar with the original Still Life, the killer escaped unrevealed and the credits rolled. Arberth announce “Coven” release before end of 2010

Published on February 22nd, 2010no comments

Arberth studios have announced that their schedule will see the release of their new point and click title “Coven” towards the end of 2010. Arberth , the team behind the successful “Rhiannon”, are planning to have a gameplay demo sent to prospective publishers very soon and the final edition ready by September. After the unfortunate economic climate surrounding the release of Rhiannon, Arberth took the brave step of self publishing so they alreay have some experience in this market however, they would be seeking publishers to put the game out on hard copy and for localisation (translation in non English speaking territories).

Another title for point and clickers to look forward to

The writers are promising an even deeper story than in ‘Rhiannon’, including themes and topics rarely if ever explored in an adventure game. Arberth believes that the PC adventure genre is unique in being able to deliver challenging, relevant puzzles among solid, sophisticated, interactive drama. In keeping with this Arberth claims Coven’s plot will be more like that of a movie than a computer game.
